With clay in hand

Hello clay friends,
After 5 long months, I can go home in the evening and sleep on my own bed and get a chance to play with clay for a few hour before I go to bed.
My daughter will come home soon and I will becoming a stay-at-home mom again, but this time, I cannot wait to stay home. More time to clay and being able to sell my jewelry on-line is such a blessing. I found a few more local shops that want to sell my jewelry and my friends in Thailand had already place the orders.
I am beginning to pick up the pieces of my life.
Hugs

Hi Ponsawan!
I'm so happy that you finally have time to get back to being creative. I've been following Ada's progress in your other blog and I'm so glad she'll be able to come home soon and you can sleep in your own bed. I can't imagine what you and Ada and your family have been going through but I'm so hopeful things will continue to improve. It's so good to see your beautiful pieces again. I think your art will be wonderful therapy for YOU!

Welcome back! I am so happy to see you are back in the creative swing! Your leaf necklace turned out fabulous! What kind of leaf are you using for your impression? It turned out very similar to the Joe Pye impressions I use which are so effective. See here:

I have followed your daughters story on the blog you've created and pray for your family often. Take care and peace be with you.

Dear Lori
I just draw the leaf on the paper, cut it out and use it as a guide line to cut out the clay. I did not use the stamp but used the needle to draw the small veins on the leave myself. Depend on how big or how fancy I want my leaf to look like, using the stamp seems to limit my imagination because I just like to make "leaf look alike" more that making it look real. Your leave bracelet looks really cool, I might try that if you don't mind. :)
Thanks.

I'd love to see what you come up with trying a leaf bracelet. I did mine real quick one morning and now I cant seem to get another one just right! It is amazing that you dont use a leaf for impressions, you get such a realistic result. The plant I use is just about at the end of it's season so soon I will have to move one to other creations. Thanks for responding, I will be watching for that bracelet!
