Another ring

Here's my heart

By making this flower ring, it made me feel like I finally found something that I really, really like to make. Watching my mom decorated pretty cake, making flower arrangement, making silk flowers, somehow, it'd gotten into my blood.
Also, I am planning ahead for Valentine's Day next year.

Pretty big rings

I had so much fun making these big and colorful rings. The posibilities are endless. Beside clay, I added pearls, crystals and glass beads with it. Fun, fun, fun.

One shade of color at a time

The pendants are made the same way as the last pendants except I was not using the stamp. This time I pressed a knitting needle to the side of the beads then slided thin sheets off. Then I rolled the bead, flatten the side and make it into a semi-rectangle shape. Matching pendants and rings were created.
My son even agrees to wear it. It must look manly enough.

Pendants with matching rings

Skinner blend sheet formed into a ball, then roll a very thin sheet of black and a sheet of white. Lay on top of each other. Cover the ball with the thin sheet, white on the inside, black on the outside. Press down lightly, then press down with a stamp sheet. With a thin blade, slide the top off a little bit at a time. Stick the cut out to another ball and make a ring out of that. The results are interesting, don't you think? A little bit of white at the rim make it look antiqued. I will write up the tutorial for this after Christmas. I promise. For now, it's time for Red, White and Green, baby!

Hair Jewels

These are the most popular items I'd sold this year at the Craft show. I used Bobby Pins! Just open it up a little bit, then with a small copper wire, tried it up at the top, added some beads, looped the wire around the pin, added some more beads and tied the end real tight.
Great gifts.

New blog for tutorial

Hey, I'd just created a new blog for tutorial, it is www.polymerclaybeads.blogspot.com. Since I had done a variety of beads in different styles, I just want to share what I'd learn and it will also serve as my note book just in case I forgot how to. This week is the tutorial for Raku Style beads. Please check it out.

Rings

I am in the mood of making rings, so here are some. There are more in the oven. The one in the middle is the OREO ring, Chocolate Bon Bon on the left. To the right is my first cup cake, but the one next to it is the chocolate cup cake with strawberry icing and cherry on the top. How sweet! The Black&White one is really funky, but it gave me more ideas, so come back soon and see more rings.

Happy Halloween

Here is the picture of my front porch where I kept the naughty kid in the big trunk. Every year I would decorate my front door with different spooky themes, just for fun.

Black & White

These Black & White beads are off to the market in Chicago this weekend along with a bunch of snowmen and Christmas beads. As I tried to keep my hands clean between colors, I must have wiped my hand too much that, suddenly while rolling the white beads, I noticed that I had a pink swirl around it. Ew! So, I will be making Black or Red beads for a while. I think I can say that I've worked my fingers to the bone, make myself a name.
