Texture Plates

I have a big block of this Red color that I don't like because it'd changed color after baking. So, I'd decided to make some texture plates, and I had a lot of fun making them. I am thinking Spring, can't you tell? Flowers, leaves, trees, etc.
P.S. My bumpy beads sold pretty good at the bead show, as well as the red-pink and Black color beads .
P.S. The Bubble Beads were made using the plate on the second row.

Glad to hear your "bumpy" beads sold well, I knew they would.

  8. This is a really good idea - I especially like the ones that seem freehand, as I've been mulling over the execution of a commission for a dinnerware set and that is PRECISELY the answer for a design element that pulls the set together while allowing the freestyle that the customer wants, as well. I'd thought about doing it in the same stoneware clay as the commission is to be done but hated to "waste" that if I didn't have to - it's a bit costly, and this is MUCH more cost effective.

Hi! I love your texture plates. I reside in South Africa and everything must be ordered from either USA or Australia and my crafts are expensive.
So if I could learn how to make the texture plates, at least I do not have to order them!
Do you perhaps have a tutorial available?
    Kind regards.
